The Quitline: Freephone 0800 002200 Hours: 12pm - 7pm every day
Quit is an independent charity providing a range of services and publications
for smokers, ex-smokers and health professionals. The Quitline, funded
by the Health Education Authority, offers a confidential, freephone service
for people who want friendly help and advice on how to stop smoking. The
Quitline is staffed by trained counsellors who have additional training
in stopping smoking. All callers to the Quitline will be offered a free
information pack. Quit also has information about local support groups.
