About our Advocacy and Support project

What young people say about Centre 33's Advocacy and Support project:

"You make us understand and make us feel safe."
"Very helpful and sorted out my problems in a few days."

The Centre 33 Advocacy and Support project helps young people:

  • find out what they are entitled to
  • make sure their voices are heard
  • get access to services they need.

Advocacy and Support worker is available to help:

  • young people aged 25 or under

The Advocacy and Support worker can support young people with things like:

  • finding accommodation
  • getting benefits
  • going to meetings or interviews - at school, social services etc
  • finding out about rights
  • speaking to other professionals or adults on their behalf
  • getting help if they look after someone at home.

If the young person can't come to Centre 33, the Advocacy and Support worker can arrange to meet them at other places in the city.
